The board recently approved establishing an ATV Trail system in the Deadens area. This was created to establish and area for year round ATV riding. This was to help take the stress off the main wildlife hunting area. This is consistent with a proper land management plan that establishes separate areas for motorized recreation from wildlife hunting areas. The board encourages all ATV riders to utilize this riding area. There is no night riding of any kind in any of the hunt wildlife areas. The animals are nocturnal and we need to be mindful of that.
Maps of the trail system are available at the gate. During hunting season we ask that all motorized travel be courteous of hunters and hunting season.

| Even though RR is private land you still have to get a hunting license, correct? but you don't need any management stamp or anything like that do you? and are there rules about picking a spot to hunt from? |

Yes you need a Hunting license,no management stamp required,no rules required for picking a spot. Just remember to respect other hunters,be safe and good luck. |

| Alrighty. Thanks for the info. I have also been told to dress in orange and look like the great pumpkin if possible. also was told the deaden area, which the newsletter says to ride during hunting season, is also full of hunters. |

| Would be great if someone could provide a map with the deaden area highlighted for everyone to see exactly where it is. |

Yes, that would be great to have a good highlighted map of deaden, especially for all us new to the ranch. I want to ride but really don't want to piss anybody off. Also I was told someone (maybe the association) made a map last year showing an alternate route to the rope swing that may help stay more out of the way of hunters??? Sounds like quite a juggling act to try to keep everybody happy. |

| On one of the other RRR sites I believe either Grizz or sk8tr posted maps of the deadens. Maybe we can get one of them to dig it out and post it. |
